  • GLP-1s cost the most on average. Compounded tirzepatide's middle half of sellers charge $199 to $325 a month; compounded semaglutide's charge $150 to $247.
  • The growth-hormone and longevity peptides cluster around $150 to $250. Sermorelin's middle half runs $158 to $249; NAD+ $149 to $225.
  • Small boards have wide spreads. Only 8 sellers on our GHK-Cu board and 10 on our PT-141 board publish a usable monthly price, so one seller moves the median.

For the full row-by-row list, see the boards for tirzepatide, semaglutide, sermorelin, NAD+, glutathione, GHK-Cu and PT-141.

Why do the same peptides cost three times more at some sellers?

Four things drive most of the gap:

  1. Dose. Many GLP-1 sellers charge by dose, so the price climbs as you titrate. RxPepsDirect, for example, prices its tirzepatide vials from $45 for the first month's vial to $247.50 for the month-six-and-later vial. The cheapest advertised price is usually the starting dose.
  2. Memberships. Some sellers list a low drug price plus a required membership. Eden prices GHK-Cu at $68 a month plus membership.
  3. Prepay plans. A "per month" figure is often the rate on a three- or six-month plan paid up front. Magnolia Regenerative Medicine advertises three-month prepay rates pinned to the starting dose; its real monthly rates for semaglutide and tirzepatide are $119 and $199.
  4. What the fee bundles. Clinician visits, shipping and supplies are included by some sellers and billed separately by others.

What's included, and what's extra?

Read each seller's terms for these, because they change the real monthly cost:

  • Visit or consult fees. Some charge once; some charge on every refill. RxPepsDirect's FAQ says "Each refill is a new $39 visit."
  • Labs. Growth-hormone and longevity programs sometimes require bloodwork before prescribing, billed separately.
  • Shipping. Cold-chain shipping is often free, sometimes not.
  • Needles, alcohol swabs and bacteriostatic water. Usually included with vials; not always.

Each review on this site has a "money you will meet later" section listing the extra costs that seller publishes.

Why are "research use only" vials cheaper, and why isn't that the same product?

Vials sold "for research use only" are not prescriptions. They are not dispensed by a pharmacy for you, carry no prescriber, and are labeled as not for human use. The price gap is the cost of a clinician, a licensed pharmacy and a patient-specific label. For peptides such as BPC-157 and TB-500, no board on this site ranks any seller, because FDA's compounding review has not cleared them — see our page on FDA's 503A bulks list review.

Does insurance cover any peptide therapy?

Compounded peptides are almost always cash-pay. Branded GLP-1s are a different story and sometimes are covered; our insurance article walks through when.

How can I tell a real monthly price from a teaser?

Of the 514 advertised prices we track across 201 sellers, 305 are a plain monthly rate. The other 209 — 41% — come with a condition the headline number does not mention. The most common:

  • "From" prices (73): only the cheapest dose or plan is shown.
  • Prepay rates (46): the monthly figure needs a multi-month commitment.
  • First-month rates (33): the price rises from the second month.

Before you pay, ask three questions: Is this the price at my dose? Can I pay it one month at a time? Does it still apply in month two? Our price transparency page lists every seller by which of these conditions applies. For the GLP-1s specifically, our cost pages for tirzepatide, semaglutide and sermorelin go deeper.

Frequently asked questions

How much do peptides cost per month?

Across 520 U.S. telehealth listings on PeptideRank's boards in October 2026, median month-to-month prices were $149 for glutathione, $175 for NAD+, $182 for GHK-Cu, $197.50 for compounded semaglutide, $199 for sermorelin, $214 for PT-141 and $259 for compounded tirzepatide.

How much does sermorelin cost per month?

The median among 71 sellers with a usable monthly price was $199 in October 2026, with the middle half charging $158 to $249 and the lowest listing at $99.

Why are some peptide prices so much lower than others?

Usually because the advertised figure is the starting dose, a prepay rate, a first-month rate, or a drug price with a required membership on top. 41% of the advertised prices PeptideRank tracks carry one of those conditions.

Does insurance cover peptide therapy?

Compounded peptides are almost always cash-pay. Branded GLP-1 drugs are sometimes covered, depending on the plan and the diagnosis.

Are research-use-only peptides the same as prescription peptides?

No. Research-use-only vials are labeled as not for human use and are not dispensed by a pharmacy under a prescription. The price difference reflects the prescriber, the licensed pharmacy and the patient-specific label.
