Tirzepatide and semaglutide: unresolved — the same /weight-loss page also states "$149.99-$249.99 per month" for the same two compounds, and each dedicated product page shows a third figure ("from $198/mo" / "from $116/mo") beside a struck-through reference price ($359.99 / $250). Sermorelin: $299.99/mo is the real 1-month price, confirmed against Maximus' own Growth Hormone Peptides pricing table (1 Month $299.99/mo, 2-Month $274.99/mo, 6-Month $199.99/mo "Best Value") — $199.99/mo is the 6-month-prepay tier, not the standing rate.
The commitment trap
Sermorelin's "starting at $199.99/mo" is the deepest tier of a 6-month prepay ladder. Tirzepatide and semaglutide show three unreconciled prices on the same site rather than one clean trap.

Maximus (maximustribe.com, legal entity Maximus Health, Inc.) is a real, substantial multi-product telehealth company — testosterone, GLP-1 weight loss, growth-hormone peptides, an oxytocin calming cream, "50,000+ members" per its own copy — selling compounded tirzepatide, compounded semaglutide, AND compounded sermorelin from one company.

Unknown. Its own FAQ states only that it "strictly partner[s] with US-based, fully licensed compounding pharmacies" meeting "USP standards" — no 503A/503B category and no specific pharmacy named anywhere reached.
Oversight

Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved products, and a 503A pharmacy compounds for a named patient while a 503B outsourcing facility manufactures in batches under CGMP. Neither is a quality guarantee on its own — a named facility is simply a fact you can check, and an unnamed “partner pharmacy network” is not.

A real, specific exclusion list for weight loss ("all states but AL, MS, LA") and a narrower one for sermorelin ("all states except Alabama") — two different lists for two different products, neither page cross-referencing the other.
The honest cons
The part they would rather you skipped
The clearest finding: Maximus' own Terms of Use state that a multi-month "Program" participant who cancels mid-term "will remain responsible for fulfilling the payment obligations for the remainder of the commitment term" — signing up for the 6-month sermorelin plan to get the $199.99/mo headline rate means an early cancellation stops shipments, not the remaining bill. The same Terms state all fees are "non-refundable... regardless of your decision to terminate your usage." Separately, its own weight-loss page states three different prices for the same tirzepatide or semaglutide product without reconciling any of them. A live FDA warning letter is on record: Maximus Health, Inc. dba Maximus, MARCS-CMS 730095, June 8, 2026, for claims ("Clinically studied ingredients," "Proven to lose weight effectively") implying FDA evaluation, plus a false "FDA approved pharmacies" claim FDA directly rejects ("Compounding facilities... are not 'FDA-approved' or 'FDA-licensed' entities"). No fabricated-identity or deepfake pattern found — its named medical advisors are independently verifiable real clinicians, and complaints found are ordinary billing/communication friction.
