Care Bare Rx
Tells you exactly what you're buying — but $199 is a starting point, not a rate.

Homepage says all 50 states; compounded tirzepatide covers 38.
PlushCare's homepage states, "Appointments are available in all 50 states," but its own dedicated compounded-tirzepatide page states the compounded product specifically is "limited to residents in the following states" — a real, specific 38-state-plus-DC list, notably narrower than the nationwide claim on the same site.

This review's stake, stated plainly — some of the outbound links on this site are affiliate links; start a program through one and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Straight about the rest, too: the write-ups say what each provider is actually worth, and a commission does not change a word of them. Full disclosure here.

The catch — A separate $19.99/mo membership fee and a $129 (or ~$30 with insurance) visit fee stack on top of the dose-tiered medication price, with no single all-in total shown anywhere on the site.

What they advertise
Compounded tirzepatide: $399/mo (1 vial), $599/mo (2 vials), $749/mo (3 vials). Compounded semaglutide: $149/$299/$499/mo by dose. A separate $19.99/mo membership (first month free) and a $129 self-pay visit fee (often ~$30 with insurance) apply on top of either.
What you actually pay
$399/mo is PlushCare's own stated standing rate for the smallest tirzepatide tier, not a promotional figure — but the true all-in first cost also stacks a separate $19.99/mo membership and a one-time visit fee, none of which are shown added together anywhere on the site.
Money you will meet later
PlushCare (plushcare.com, legal entity PlushCare, Inc., a Fabric Labs, Inc. subsidiary as of 2026-07-31) is a large, established general telehealth company that also sells compounded tirzepatide and compounded semaglutide as a shortage-driven alternative when the FDA-approved brand is unavailable. This review previously recorded PlushCare as out of scope on the grounds that the word "compounded" appeared nowhere on its site. That was wrong: PlushCare runs dedicated compounded-tirzepatide and semaglutide-prescription pages that use the word dozens of times each, with dose-tiered pricing disclosed on them.
PlushCare appears on our tirzepatide provider ranking, our semaglutide provider ranking and our combined weight loss injections ranking. Nothing on this page is a performance claim.

PlushCare does not name the pharmacy that fills your prescription.
Unknown. PlushCare's own compounded-tirzepatide page states medication is prepared by "our preferred state-licensed sterile compounding pharmacy partner" — a real compounding relationship, but no specific pharmacy is named and no 503A/503B category is stated.
A 503A pharmacy compounds for one named patient; a 503B outsourcing facility manufactures in batches under CGMP. Neither is a quality guarantee on its own — a named facility is simply a fact you can check, and an unnamed “partner pharmacy network” is not. Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved.
List published. PlushCare's own compounded-tirzepatide page limits the compounded product to a specific 38-state-plus-DC list — narrower than the "all 50 states" claim on its own homepage for general telehealth appointments.
The part they would rather you skipped
PlushCare's homepage states, "Appointments are available in all 50 states," while its own compounded-tirzepatide page limits the compounded product specifically to a 38-state-plus-DC list — a real, same-company nationwide-vs-narrower contradiction a reader would only find by reading both pages. No FDA warning letter names "PlushCare" — clean.
None of this is unique to PlushCare — the whole category shares it.
